About
Born in Williams Lake, I have always been driven by a passion for sports and a commitment to teaching others. Throughout my life, I have excelled in various athletic endeavors and achieved success in high-level competitions. Alongside my sporting pursuits, I have also served as a dedicated lifeguard, imparting valuable swimming skills and ensuring the safety of countless individuals.
From a young age, I engaged in a diverse range of sports, including soccer, freestyle wrestling, and professional MMA. These experiences provided me with the discipline, resilience, and determination necessary to excel in the competitive realm. I dedicated myself to honing my skills, constantly pushing my limits and striving for excellence.
Simultaneously, I embarked on a fulfilling twenty-year career as a lifeguard, teaching swimming lessons and safeguarding pools. Over the past two decades, I had the opportunity to build a thriving swim school that catered to individuals of all skill levels — from introductory swimmers to competitive expert level.
I am the founder and CEO of Royal Masters Swim Club. The strength of the club comes from collaborating with exceptional colleagues such as Gary Buntain and Blake Currie. Together we transformed our swim school into a hub of aquatic education, competition and recreation. Our collective efforts breathed new life into the program, allowing beginner adults and former swim club members to rediscover the joy of swimming while enhancing their overall quality of life.
With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for empowering others, I continue to inspire and uplift those around me in the downtown Vancouver community — forging new paths to success and creating opportunities for swim growth.
